Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper - March 4, 5:00-6:30 pm
Why pancakes? Why Mardi Gras beads? Why babies in King Cakes? Come find out as we gather for a fun and meaningful time of fellowship
and feasting on pancakes in preparation for the season of Lent. We’ll also have crafts for the kids to enjoy!
This event is free, but donations are welcome and all proceeds will support our Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging.

Ash Wednesday Ashes to Go - March 5, 7:00-9:15 am
God meets us where we are. On the way to work or school, out for errands or doctor appointments. This Ash Wednesday drive through our front parking lot to receive impositions of ashes, coffee or water, and a personal prayer. This is a time to reflect on God’s presence with you in the day to day, throughout the day.
Ash Wednesday Evening Worship - March 5, 7:00 pm
Come join us for worship along with imposition of ashes in the sanctuary.
Global Missions Weekend - March 15 and March 16
Join us on Saturday for our Global Missions Dinner and learn more about the global missionaries supported by Shady Grove UMC.
Come Sunday for worship as Amanda Garber from the Virginia Conference of the UMC will share about Partnerships of Hope.
Palm Sunday - April 13
Join us for Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary at 9:30 am and Worship at the Well in the Fellowship Hall at 11:00 am as we begin Holy Week!
A petting zoo will be on campus from 9:00-11:00 am and you will have an opportunity to give and support Heifer International,
a charitable organization that helps lift families & farmers out of poverty.

Easter Egg Hunt - April 19, 10:00 am
The Easter Egg Hunt is open to the community. What a great opportunity to invite neighbors!
