Monday

Betty Fairbanks Circle

What is the Betty Fairbanks Circle? Where are they working to serve in the Name of Christ? Who can join? The BFC has served SGUMC for many years. Their fellowship and donations continually make a difference. This year BFC has given to our children’s program scholarships and the Sewing Seeds of Hope Ministry. It has helped package bags for Operation Christmas Child. We meet the second Monday of each month at 11:30 am. usually in the Fellowship Hall.

Everyone is welcome to join us!

Tuesday

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets the last Tuesday of every month at the home of Margaret Phillips from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm. They gather for fellowship and to make prayer shawls that are given to someone who is suffering with despair, loss, or illness.

JOY@SGUMC stands for Just Older Youth at Shady Grove United Methodist Church. After all, isn’t that what our “Seniors” are, an older “youth” group? A group of disciples who are looking to learn more about God, more about themselves and their peers through worship, study, service and fellowship! JOY schedules opportunities on various days throughout the year.
