Worship from Home
Anytime During the Week

Join us as we worship ONLINE, you may worship anytime during the week. Worship for the upcoming week is typically posted on Saturday.

Outdoor Worship
Sunday, 10:30 am

Please note that registration is a two-step process
  1. REGISTER to help us for planning and logistics
  2. Note that there is a required Health Form that must be completed for any in-person gathering. You may click HERE to complete or the link will be displayed immediately after submitting worship registration. *Note that this is an updated form compared to the form used in the past.
Please also visit the OUTDOOR WEBPAGE to review requirements and guidelines.
Important Reminder for Outdoor Worship
On the day of worship, take your temperature. If you have a fever above 100.4 degrees, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, sore throat, headache, muscle pain, GI issues, chills, or new loss of taste or smell, come to online worship for this week instead of Drive-In or In-Person. Please contact the pastor if you would like to have a prayer time together.
**Weather Related Information**
Please note that drive-in worship is scheduled rain or shine, but we do adjust the altar area and parking arrangements. Please follow the direction of the parking attendants when you come for worship. In the event of severe storms, we will do our best to notify you in advance of any changes to worship.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

For those needing God’s encouragement, Prayer Shawls are available to share. A shawl can be picked up either at worship this Sunday or at the church office. EMAIL Dana or call the office to make arrangements to pickup at the office. Crafted with care and wrapped and bagged for safety, a prayer shawl is an expression of care for those in need of comfort and a reminder that they are in thoughts and prayers.

Real Discipleship Survey

How do people become marathoners? It happens by stages:
  • Watching a friend race and thinking, "Why marathons?"
  • Trying run-walks with your friend thinking, "What are marathons about?"
  • Getting the shoes, stretching, running, keeping time and pursuing, "How to run a marathon?"
  • Friends you run with ask you to coach them and you wonder, "What if I coached or we started a running team?"
According to Phil Maynard, this is just how people become followers of Jesus.
  • Beginning by wondering, "Why Jesus?
  • Exploring faith and asking "What is Jesus about?"
  • Growing with Jesus by asking and practicing, "How do I live like Jesus?"
  • Maturing with Jesus by exploring and answering, What if Jesus sent me to help others on the journey?"
Where are you on the journey? Where you are is the best place to be! It's the place from which you can take the next step, and the next.

We encourage you to take a few minutes and take the next step by clicking HERE
Construction Update!
This week we have seen much in the way of clearing of trees and preparing of the site for the next phase. Please be sure to use caution anytime you are making the trip to campus. Most of the week our back lot will be closed to traffic, but currently will still be in use on Sunday mornings.

Please complete this Google Form so that we can get good contact info to reach as many college students as possible. Any and all college students (or family members of students) can complete the form! Questions? EMAIL Lauren Adkins or call 804.212.7195.

All Saints Day

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party
November 1, 1:00-4:00 pm

One of the always fun intergenerational mission events is our Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party! Although things will be a bit different this year we will still have this annual event with a few adjustments to how we pack. PLEASE REGISTER ONLY ONE FAMILY MEMBER EVEN THOUGH THE WHOLE FAMILY CAN COME PACK TOGETHER AS WE NEED TO TRACK OUR MAXIMUM CAPACITY BY "FAMILY PACKING PODS". Families will arrive in 15 minute increments although your time here will be longer, this will just help us stagger the packing and distance from each other. You will select your arrival time slot during the registration process.

Within one week of the event you will also need to complete a VAUMC Conference Health Form that is required for all on campus events. If you submit for worship or other events a separate form is not required.

We will be praying for good weather as we are planning this to be an outside event. Please park in the back lot and walk between the sanctuary and education building and you will receive directions to begin your packing!
