ADOPTION
“For this child I prayed” (1 Samuel 1:27)  Gather for fellowship with other adults who have become parents through adoption.  We provide each other with support on adoption issues relating to our children and share resources on adoption-related matters.  We also create a safe environment for our children to connect with other children in adopted families.  We serve by connecting with families considering adoption to share our stories and resources, offering support.  We also connect with birth mothers considering adoption to offer them a glimpse at the loving life their children would receive through adoption. We participate within the community by offering support to organizations that raise awareness about adoption, and to organizations that provide assistance and counseling to potential birth mothers.  We also participate in community outreach activities that support adoption issues.  For more information, contact Sara Fender, sefender@msn.com or 360-3880.

Break out in hives just getting near a Bible? Do not fear! Together, we will voice our questions and hopes for reading the Bible. Come, learn what the Bible is (and is not), how to read it (and how not to read it) and the overall themes of God’s questions and hopes for us! Best of all, come experience God’s grace; we will explore practical ways the Bible can be part of our day to day life of being loved by God and loving God and our neighbor. Led by Rev.
