Pastor and author Matt Rawle is on a mission. He sees Christ all around him - in books, movies, TV shows, rock music - and he wants to share what he sees. As Matt says, "God offers the raw ingredients, and 'culture' is whatever we cook up."

Matt Rawle uses Harper Lee’s beloved characters to explore Christian faith, theology, and ethics. Join Scout, Atticus Finch, Boo Radley, and Tom Robinson in this four-week DVD-based study considering God’s world and what it all means. -

Shady Grove would like you to join in this short term study that will utilize iconic literary characters to encourage participants in understanding of our character in Christ. The four weekly sessions of this study will follow book discussion of and viewing of the film adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird. Come for any or all parts of this program: book club, movie screening, and short term study. This study is appropriate for adults and mature youth.
