Information for Participants for Drive-in Worship
• Love your neighbor as yourself by
taking the best care of you: Please do not attend on campus until you and/or
your physician and/or family have fully reviewed the worship choices and determined
what is safe for you. On campus worship options do not mean that Coronavirus is
any less dangerous. On campus worship is offered as safely as possible within
the parameters of Virginia State guidance and the best information we have on
this novel community health challenge. ONLINE WORSHIP WILL CONTINUE
INDEFINITELY AND YOU ARE A VITAL PART OF IT.
• If Drive-in is right for you, please
make a reservation to “come as you are and stay in your car.” Persons of
any age able to comply with these guidelines may attend. (For the safety of
all, we will bring worship to a close if a participant refuses to remain in
their car.)
• On the day of worship, take your temperature. If you have a fever above
100.4 degrees, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue,
sore throat, headache, muscle pain, GI issues, chills, or new loss of taste or
smell, come to online worship for this week instead of Drive-In. Please
contact the pastor if you would like to have a prayer time together.
• Bring sanitizer, and you may want
your mask (in the event of emergency, if you have your windows down, or if you
are reaching out for offering or Communion).
• Remember the bathrooms will not be
open (and the service will be shorter.)
• Please park every other space as
directed.
• An e-bulletin will be available.
• SING: This is the only worship
service on campus that allows singing at this time.
• REJOICE: You will get to interact in
worship with honking and light flashing! Together we will share the Spirit
during Coronavirus.
• On first Sundays, Communion is
available in pre-sealed containers. They will be handed to you via a long
handled device (to maintain 6 feet). Use your sanitizer to re-clean the
container and your hands before receiving the elements.
• Locked boxes for offerings will be
available with ushers at the exits.
