JOY@SGUMC stands for Just Older Youth at Shady Grove United Methodist Church.
After all, isn’t that what our “Seniors” are, an older “youth” group?
A group of disciples who are looking to learn more
about God, more about themselves and their peers
through worship, study and service.
We have put together a schedule of JOYfilled activities for the 2018-2019 year! Unless
otherwise stated, our monthly meetings will start at 11:00 am on Wednesdays in the
Fellowship Hall at SGUMC. Plan to stay for a few hours of faith, fellowship, food, and
fun. Our meetings will usually include a covered dish meal. If it is your BIRTHDAY
MONTH, BRING DESSERT to share! Everyone else bring an entree or side to share with
the group. For special guest speakers or causes we will occasionally take up a love
offering.
